To apply for a Multilink Vehicle Pass you must be an Isle of Wight resident/home owner and provide proof of residency and photo ID for all registered users of your pass.
Up to two additional people can be added to pass but must live in/own the same property as the main Pass holder.
We accept driving licence, utility bills, council tax bills or bank statements as proof of residency.
We accept photo driving licence, passport or HM Forces ID cards as proof of photo ID.
Photo ID must be shown when purchasing and travelling.
If photo ID cannot be produced when travelling, you will be charged the full standard fare and no retrospective refunds will be given.
Main Pass holder, second registered user or third registered user must drive or be a passenger of the vehicle using a Multilink Pass.
Passes are valid for travel within one year from purchase or date of top up.
Wightlink reserves the right to cancel, without refund, any Multilink Pass we reasonably believe has been misused.
Passengers, their luggage and their vehicles are subject to Wightlinkâs General Conditions for the Provision of Ferry Services at (wightlink.co.uk/terms) and Multilink Product Guide at (wightlink.co.uk/multilink).
Important
The number of spaces available for Multilink Pass bookings is limited to a minimum of 10% on all sailings. We strongly recommend booking in advance.
Only the main Pass holder can top up, make, amend or cancel bookings online.
Top ups must be purchased in the same denomination as originally purchased.
We will replace any lost or stolen Pass on presentation of photo ID at a Wightlink ticket office and will charge an administration fee.
Refunds and Cancellations
Multilink Passes can be returned up to 30 days after expiry for a refund.
Refunds are calculated at 75% of the value of the remaining, unused single journeys.
Passes can be returned with a letter detailing your sort code, bank account number and signature. Send to Contact Centre, Wightlink Ltd, Gunwharf Road, Portsmouth, PO1 2LA.
No refunds will be considered on Passes more than 30 days after expiry.
Cancellations made up to 1 hour before scheduled sailing time will be credited back to your Pass.
Cancellations made within 1 hour before scheduled sailing time will not be credited back to your Pass.
Any booked journeys that are not cancelled or used will not be credited back to your Pass.
Report lost or stolen Passes as soon as possible (wightlink.co.uk/contactus). We will refund any travel which was made without your permission only if it occurred after you reported your Pass lost or stolen.
